LGIS Qualifications Assessment Authority is bringing to the Filipino Community, a WORLD of possibilities!!

LGIS launched the Pearson LCCI (London Chamber of Commerce and Industries) International Certifications at the Learning Forum endorsed by the Commission on Higher Education entitled “ Advancing the Filipino Talent in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”. This forum held last July 26, 2017 at the Sofitel Plaza Philippine Plaza in Manila brought together forward thinking leaders from the Academe, Industries and Government Sectors of the country.

In attendance were over 450 stakeholders with distinguished panelists sharing their expert insights on how the country can best address issues on global competency and how we can keep up with global competitiveness.

Discussions were held regarding the importance of Filipinos taking it up a notch in terms of education and skills to enhance participation of Filipino talents in the Global Supply network. It was also important to note, during this forum, that Globalization, especially International Recognition of Talents and Skills is a direct result of the ASEAN Equivalency Program. Esteemed Panelists joined the forum and presented Economic, Educational and Over All Societal impact of Filipinos being globally competitive.

The forum, that was held on a particularly stormy day, brought about several opportunities for partnerships between institutions, industries, government sectors and LGIS. Now, with these partnerships, we are truly ready to bring these global opportunities of recognition of education, skills and talents to the Filipino community.

It was through this huge event that LGIS welcomed partnerships with universities in becoming ACTCs (Accredited Assessment Centers and Training Centers for Pearson LCCI), as well as strengthening the shared vision of educational sectors of the government, specifically with CHED, as represented by Atty. Lily Freida M. Milla of the International Affairs Division and the Hon. Commissioner Ronald Adamat.

The forum was a melting pot of views and opinions with regards to the aforementioned issues which all eventually brought us to a Solution to Internationalization and Global Competency Challenges as discussed by the Country Director and CEO of LGIS Qualifications Assessment Authority, Loda Grace Zuyco – Dulla.

This event was spearheaded by the LGIS Country Director, Ms Loda Grace Zuyco – Dulla and organized with the assistance of the LGIS branches and Board of Directors.
